Replace Panel Backup Battery

Replace Panel Backup Battery

1. Remove top screw (if installed) and press tabs

2. Flip front cover down

3. Apply pressure to spread battery clips and remove old battery from battery tray

4. Remove the red and black battery terminal wires and set old battery aside

5. Install red and black wires on to new battery then install battery into battery tray

Note: Do not cross wires under battery or cover will not close correctly

6. Flip front cover up to close and finish

Press end button to remove cover and replace 2 AAA alkaline batteries

Press end latch to remove cover, battery is CR123A or SAFT LS14250 Lithium battery

1. Pull sensor away from backplate then insert screwdriver into side slots to remove cover

2. Slide CR2032 Lithium battery from holder to replace

1.Insert coin into corner slot then twist to remove cover from backplate

2. Remove inside cover then slide CR2032 Lithium battery from holder to replace

Replace Motion Sensor Batteries

1. Press top button then remove sensor from back plate

2. Hold top and bottom tabs then pull motion from front cover

3. Remove and replace AA Alkaline batteries then replace motion on back plate

1. Insert screwdriver into bottom slot to remove motion from back plate

2. Remove and replace SAFT LS14250 Lithium battery

1.Find the tab at the top of the device and press it in

2. Pull the front of motion away from back plate

3. Remove and replace the battery observing the polarity + and –

4. Install the motion in the back plate and press until you hear the click

1.Twist counterclockwise to remove from base, open cover to replace CR123A batteries

1.Twist cover to remove from base, remove and replace 2 9-Volt Alkaline batteries

1.This smoke has no user replaceable battery. If the unit has a fault call LS Security for service (306-522-2752). See the graphic for permanently disabling the device if you are instructed to by a service technician. By turning the switch you are destroying the sensor.
